I sit here in my office looking out at the grey sky matching my grey mood.
I’m drinking an energy drink which I need to get through this day.
A cleaner just walked in to empty my bin. And I’m wondering who is happier – me or she?

Work might not provide you with purpose or happiness. So spend time doing things you enjoy.
I’ve spent all this time following a strict diet and exercise routine. And I wonder for whom am I doing this? Does anyone really care?
Sure, it might make me happy. But isn’t really the approval of others we crave? Achievement can feel like nothing (most times) when it goes unacknowledged. And that’s terribly sad.
